Day 1

So...where to begin? I guess I could start with the cheeseburger, swiss cheese, avocado and smothered in ranch dressing. Oh, but don't forget the full order of sweet potato fries and handful of mini peanut butter cups on the side. I guess you could say today was a nutritional suicide bombing! Aside from my poor food choices today was a great day. Today's wins included: 1. I weighed in at 176.4 (1 lb less than I weighed before Christmas, despite the 8 I gained after) 2. My boss bought me an ipad, which I am using to type right now!!! 3. I got my office mostly set up! 4. Prayed twice for patience and gratitude 5. Came home to my husband making roast chicken for dinner (yes, I realize how great my husband is!) All in all my day went well. I keep reminding myself that like the AA adage, it's one day at a time. Rome was not built in a day and apparently neither are band new good habits! Stay tuned for tomorrow!

Day Zero

So I don't know much about blogging other than I know I love to read other peoples!  Writing is an old passion of mine that somewhere along the way of becoming a Wife, Mom, career woman and a whole other slew of hats I wear, got misplaced.  This is my quest to regain that passion and make changes in my life over the next 90 days in order to better myself.  There are a few specific areas that I want to focus on in order to achieve balance in my life:
1. Spiritual Growth
All though I have always been somewhat spiritual I am yearning for a deeper understanding of God's word and how that can positively affect my family and my life as a whole

2. Physical Growth (or shrinkage lol!)
It is my desire to get in the physical shape that I possibly can over the next 90 establishing good habits to sustain me for years to come.

3. Financial Growth
I recently came on board with a Real Estate company as their Career Development Director in Southern California and I want to take the area by storm in my recruiting efforts.

4. Relationship Growth
Enough said, I'm saving the best (or most challenging) for last.  This area includes everyone that means something to me; my husband, parents, children, friends, and family

I know that this is a huge undertaking but I am committed to holding myself accountable to the goals I set myself and this blog will be a huge part of that accountability process.....stay tuned!
